Each channel in the Networking category has a specific purpose. Posts must stay within the intent of the channel to keep the server organised and professional. There are 22 channels, grouped below by what they’re for.
General rules
- Every networking channel has a defined use and must only contain relevant posts.
- Posting in the wrong channel should be removed or redirected to the right one.
- Reposting the same message across multiple networking channels is not allowed.
- Networking channels are not for general discussion or spam.
Recruitment: orgs and teams hiring
For projects, teams, or organisations looking to bring people on. Posts should name the project, the role, and compensation.
Individuals offering or seeking
For people marketing themselves or looking to join something.
Orgs and assets
#marketplace has hard rules: no account selling (Discord, game, social, servers), no illegal items, no scams, no leaked brands. Breaking these is a permanent ban, not a warning.
Feedback
Feedback channels are not for exposing or targeting anyone. Keep it constructive. Delete anything toxic, any exposing attempt, or blatant trash talk. This applies across #org-feedback, #member-feedback, and #design-feedback.
Staff enforcement notes
- Remove posts that are off-topic or in the wrong channel, and redirect to the correct one where appropriate.
- Reposting the same post across multiple channels counts as spam.
- Remove scam, misleading, or exposing posts on sight, especially in #looking-for-investors, #marketplace, and the feedback channels.
- Repeated misuse may be treated as spam or rule abuse.
